Ok, so I thought up this contest on my drive up to Scranton, PA...

The contest: I'm thinking of a number between 1 and 100 (including 1 and 100). Take a guess at it. You're eligible for your next guess after 2 people make their guesses. (for instance, player a makes a guess, then has to wait for player b and c to make their guesses before he/she can make a 2nd guess). We'll play until Sunday night @ 10:00 PM (if it goes that long).

Reward: It's a variable reward! I'll throw in +200 credits/guess. So if it takes 12 guesses till someone gets it right, that's 2400 credits.

Please note, I'm doing an indy fed tour this long weekend. I can only check this stuff at the hotel rooms, where i have wireless access. That basically means checking 4 hours before show time, or 3 hrs after. My schedule is as follows (Scranton PA, Thursday 9:30 PM.. Wilkes-Barre PA, Friday 8:00 PM... Phillipsburg NJ, Saturday 3:00 PM... Allentown PA, Saturday, 9 PM... York PA, Sunday, 3 PM) If anyone's interested in going to one of those things, PM me with which location you want and I'll make sure to reserve some free tickets for you. Maybe have an FFR section, that'd be cool :P

So, even as I'm writing this thought, my mom or dad comes in, either asking a question, or bugging me about something, anything... Came home from college, and i've had 3 weeks of getting to do nothing, and I've enjoyed it, less the fact I didn't get too much practice here.. It's because they decide they need to come in my room every 8 seconds (exaggeration), to clue me in on all the drivel in the day. -sigh-

Luck is on my side though, because on June 8th, I get to move into my new place! 4 bedroom house, with 3 of my friends, good stuff. No interruptions, do as I please... So what would I like to see happen with me at FFR? By the end of June..

Well, I've been here for 5 years now. This user name seems to be older than a lot of admins/mods even. Things from the past that will be forever nostalgic to me include:

- A wide variety of 20 some songs. All blue arrows, no speed mods, or mods of any type, mostly offbeat, with no multiplayer.

-The old timing system, where an AAA on a )))) song was an accomplishment.

-Forums were primary community, since this was in the time period where broadband was just starting to be commonplace, so chat was restricted to 30 people only.

-Being on FFR radio when it mattered, and having everyone kiss up in chat in hopes I'd mention their name.

-Watching Arch0wl absolutely engulf noobs in flame.

-Jimerax's reign @ #1.

-The utterly suspenseful buildup to R2.

These are only a few examples, but there are a lot of good memories from FFR over the years. And crap, I'm old.

Here's to 5 years of living a sheltered life apparently! :)
