If you go to the song info where it shows the highest scores, and you play the music on there(Hit the play buttong in song info) it makes it to where its 100% loaded on the game.

shiro_ryuu writes...

Nah, VGA and DVI are the 2 major types of video inputs for monitors. In general, VGA monitors will usually stop resolution wise around 1280x1024, whereas DVI can go much higher (and cost more due to this). Most video cards that do "dual monitors" have 1 VGA and 1 DVI input. You can find some that support 2 DVIs, but they can be on the pricey side, and can be harder to find at local stores. As for the plugs, monitors with DVI will sometimes have VGA plugs as well, but strict VGA won't have a DVI plug. You'll need to check your monitor specs to see which of these it supports. D-SUB or VGA gives you VGA, while DVI/Digital Inupt will give you DVI.

As far as the DVI / VGA stuff, you'll just need to make sure the monitors have the input for it. If not well.. you'll need to add a monitor to all that :X I'm not sure that you could find a VGA -> DVI convertor, but you can find a DVI -> VGA pretty easily (online or at like radio shack or something).

You need to get a card that supports dual monitors. Most of the newer Nvidia / ATI's would work. Just note that a lot of the setups have one VGA and one DVI, so you'd need to make sure you had adaptors or just the straight plugs.

You can get one of the SoundBlaster X-Fi cards, which base at like 71 bucks. They've got ASIO in them, and I just tested the $104 version and confirmed it worked with Vista and FL Studio.

It's got some good reviews behind it, and from what I've heard, has some ridiculously nice latency. Works on Vista too it seems. Only thing is the audio out jacks are split into L and R's, so a standard one jack speaker ain't gonna cut it :p
shiro_ryuu writes...

Everything looks cool but the sound card. FL Studio uses ASIO (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Audio_Stream_Input/Output) for recording, so you need to make sure your sound card is compatible with it, or hope the ASIO4ALL (http://www.asio4all.com/) work with it. This is done to reduce response tiem delays (latency), and FL Studio can't record without it :p If it was me and I had enough though, I'd just get a decent soundcard with ASIO drivers and use that.
