| About me: | I'm a video game journalist as well as a contributor to the many games on this site. Make sure you also play Spin It Up, located right on this very site and if you like video games, be sure to visit www.rithum.com - your FFR login works over on that site as well. | | Interests: | Video games (particularly fighting and rhythm), writing, anime/manga, studying Japanese | | Fav music: | I like a lot of trance, house and jungle. FFR needs more disco house. Guitar solos are pretty hardcore too. | | Fav movies: | I don't really watch movies. I know, I'm a weirdo. | | Homepage: | http://www.rithum.com |

Page 2 Con You Dig It?Posted on: January 17, 2008, at 11:38:23pm [ 2 comments] I found a handful of conventions in my area that I will most likely be making my way to as long as I can afford to:
**Maybe** - February - Anime & Games Ohio (Akron, Ohio) Feb. 8-10 http://www.aandgohio.com/ - This one depends on how much money I have, what's going on in school and whether or not it is too short of a notice.
February - BASHCon XXIII (Toledo, Ohio) Feb. 22-24 http://www.bashcon.com/
March - Animarathon (Bowling Green, Ohio) March 29 http://www.bgsu.edu/studentlife/orga...e/animarathon/
Arpil - Anime Punch (Columbus, Ohio) April 11-13 http://www.animepunch.org/
May - Anime Central (Rosemont, Illinois) May 16-18 http://www.acen.org/
June - ColossalCon (Beachwood, Ohio) June 26-29 http://www.colossalcon.com/2008/
July - Ikasucon (Fort Wayne, Indiana) July 18-20 http://www.ikasucon.org/index.php
Animarathon and possibly Anime Central are going to be the big deal cons for us, but I'll be looking to promote the site at these events. If you can, come out and join me and help spread the word. As more details become available, I will be posting threads for them. Back to SchoolPosted on: January 13, 2008, at 10:00:53pm [ 3 comments] Starting tomorrow, I'll be hitting the books again with Japanese, a little programming and a bunch of business classes. This means I won't be found in the profile chat at 4 a.m. and I won't be around anymore on Mondays or most of Wednesday. If you see me online past 1 a.m. during the week, make sure you yell at me. May everyone else have fun with their education, and don't forget to start planning for Animarathon (Saturday, March 29). Kwik is victorious! +350 EXPPosted on: January 7, 2008, at 11:12:52am [ 5 comments] I'm back from getting my teeth worked on and everything is 110% cool. The process was far less painful and agitating than I expected and now I'm just waiting to be able to feel my face again. No food until 2:15 p.m. though. *cry*
And for all those wondering about the gift sub from the New Year's contest, the winner of the prediction segment has until the end of Tuesday to contact me or else I will move on to the next eligible entry. Check your private messages people!
Now I just need to figure out what I'm going to do for the remainder of the day since I'm not supposed to be active. -nestlekwik Spin It UpPosted on: December 19, 2007, at 06:59:36pm [ 2 comments] After Saturday's update, I realized we have hit some pretty awesome landmarks in Spin It Up:
* 65 levels added since September 2007
* More than 100 levels now in-game
* Five tutorial levels to introduce beginners to the game
Thanks to all of the game's supporters as without you, these landmarks wouldn't have been possible. Be sure to keep checking in to see some changes to be made to the game soon, including personal rankings.
